We are a union of 12 associations and we are among the most active organizations dedicated to nature conservation in the field.
We create islands of life and open up the space of nature.
We return rare species back to nature, not ourselves back to the trees.
We do not go against nature, but along it – we learn from the past and adapt to the present.
We are united by love and respect for nature and long-standing friendships.
JARO is a network of associations from Central Europe working hands-on in the field. We’ve been protecting nature across Europe and beyond since 1989.
